Israel reportedly continues to edge closer toward unilateral Iranian strikes despite all ostensible efforts by the US to pump the brakes on the clash which could spiral out of control.

Russian strikes have been ravaging Ukrainian cities for the past few days, hitting what reports claim has been a combination of energy infrastructure and weapons manufacturing hubs.

In response to the last week of Ukrainian provocations Putin released a long statement accusing Ukraine of slipping into terrorism and sabotaging the peace talks:

Today Ukraine made another major attempt at taking down the Kerch bridge, resulting in its most miserable failure so far.

Ukraine has carried out a mass drone strike operation on Russian strategic bases, damaging and potentially destroying several Tu-95 strategic bombers as well as some additional Tu-22s and transport planes

One of the interesting developments of the past few days is the continued rejection by Russian officials of the previous ceasefire ‘status quo’, with the gradual warming up by the West to Russia’s own demands.
